Our explorations of eastern China bring us to Shanghai’s striking gardens and the tranquil canals of Suzhou. Then embark the Yangzi Explorer for an extraordinary cruise of the Yangtze River and its breathtaking Three Gorges. The spectacular scenery of Shennongjia National Park is also on display during our grand voyage. We celebrate China’s icons, visiting the pandas of Chongqing, witnessing the Terracotta Army, and discovering Beijing’s Forbidden City, Summer Palace, and of course, The Great Wall of China. The splendour of successive dynasties is evident throughout our journey, through the art, architecture, parks and gardens of each city and province. A wealth of cultural experiences and stays in premium hotels are also included.

See Two of China’s Finest Classical Gardens
Wander paths past lotus-filled ponds and elegant pavilions at The Humble Administrator’s Garden. And visit the Summer Palace, whose ornate halls, marble bridges and lake are framed by lush gardens.
The Great Wall of China
Marvel at China’s ancient wonder, which stretches for more than 21,000 kilometres. Travel to the Mutianyu section, renowned for its well-preserved fortifications.
See Shanghai’s Yu Garden
The Yu Garden is a masterpiece of classical Chinese landscaping, featuring intricately carved rockeries that reflect the artistry of the Ming Dynasty.
Jinxi Water Town
