Day 1. Arrive Shanghai

On arrival, be met at Shanghai airport and transferred to your hotel. After a Welcome Dinner enjoy premium seating at an acrobatic show.

Day 2. Shanghai & Yu Garden

This morning cruise the Huangpu River and explore the lavish Yu Garden, before feasting on dim sum for lunch.

Day 3. Shanghai to Suzhou

Travel to the picturesque town of Suzhou, travel to Tiger Hill and see the Azalea Flower Show and Wanjing Villa before dinner tonight.

Day 4. Suzhou, Humble Administrator’s Garden

Visit the renowned Humble Administrator’s Garden today. This evening we go to the Night Garden of Fishermen’s Net, for traditional Suzhou music.

Day 5. Jinxi & Xi’an

Travel to the scenic watertown of Jinxi and enjoy a boat ride. Fly to Xi’an and see the ancient city wall. Enjoy a Tang Dynasty show and dumpling banquet.

Day 6. Xi’an & Terracotta Army

Arrive at the world-famous Terracotta Army. Accompanied by a museum curator, you’ll get to see some of the best-preserved sculptures from a lower viewing platform, which is off-limits to the general public. Spend the afternoon at the Museum of Qin Terracotta Warriors and Horses.

Day 7. Chongqing & Embark Ship

Fly to Chongqing see giant pandas at the Chongqing Zoo. Transfer to your luxury river ship, the RV Sanctuary Yangzi Explorer. After dinner, watch a film about the construction of the Three Gorges Dam.

Day 8. Fengdu or Relocation Tour

Tour Fengdu, a graceful little ‘Ghost City’ or the Relocated Village, a village for those forced to move due to the rising waters caused by the Three Gorges Dam.

Day 9. Qutang Gorge, Wu Gorge, Shennong Stream & Xiling Gorge

Cruise along the Yangtze River through the Three Gorges region, considered by many to be China’s most picturesque.

Day 10. Three Gorges Dam, Yichang, Disembark Cruise & Beijing

Tour the Three Gorges Dam, the world’s largest engineering project. Disembark ship in Yichang and transfer to the airport for your flight to Beijing. After dinner, attend a Peking Opera show.

Day 11. Beijing, Tian’anmen Square

Today begins with a tour of Tian’anmen Square. Afterwards, head to the World Heritage-listed Forbidden City, then visit the Summer Palace’s Imperial Garden.

Day 12. Beijing, Great Wall of China

Visit one of the best-preserved parts of the Great Wall of China, the Mutianyu section. Board a cable car and enjoy great views. This evening we will enjoy a Peking Duck Farewell Dinner.

Day 13. Depart Beijing

This morning after breakfast, transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
