Itinerary

Day 1. Arrive Milan to the Italian Lakes

Starting at 10am from the Milan hotel enjoy a city sightseeing tour before continuing to the Italian Lakes District. This evening enjoy a Welcome Dinner.

Day 2. Isola Bella & Isola Madre Gardens

Travel by ferry to Isola Bella to one of the most celebrated privately owned baroque gardens in Italy. Afterwards, visit Isola Madre, the largest island of the Isole Borromee archipelago, often referred to as a botanical garden on water.

Day 3. Villa Carlotta & Villa Melzi Gardens

At Villa Carlotta see a range of plants, stairways, ponds and fountains that date back to the 17th century. Take a ferry to Bellagio to explore Villa Melzi Gardens.

Day 4. Verona & Giardini Giusti

Today we will travel to the quaint city of Verona, made famous by Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. Visit the garden of Giardini Giusti then enjoy time to explore Verona.

Day 5. Bled, Slovenia

This morning cross the border into Slovenia. Take an afternoon tour of Bled including the castle and church.

Day 6. Wildflowers of Slovenia

Today we go into the hills of Slovenia with a wildflower guide to see the unique and endemic plants of the area. Afterwards visit the Bohinj Wildflower Festival.

Day 7. Arboretum Volcji Potok, Ljubljana & Embark Ship

Journey to Slovenia’s most esteemed horticultural facility, Arboretum Volcji Potok. See more than 3,000 roses in bloom then enjoy free time to explore Slovenia’s capital, Ljubljana. This afternoon we continue to the town of Opatija, where you will board the Princess Eleganza.

Day 8. Plitvice Lakes National Park, Croatia

Today we enjoy an excursion to the Plitvice Lakes National Park. This is an area of extraordinary natural beauty with 16 lakes interconnected by a series of waterfalls set within forested hills.

Day 9. Sibenik Garden Visit

Arrive in Sibenik for a visit of the historic town centre and a medieval garden. This evening choose to dine in one of the many restaurants ashore.

Day 10. Split

Arrive in Split and enjoy a walk through the old town including the 4th century Palace of Diocletian. This evening choose to dine in one of the many restaurants on the Riva promenade.

Day 11. Hvar & Korcula

Enjoy a free morning on Hvar exploring the old town then cruise on to Korcula, said to be the birthplace of Marco Polo.

Day 12. Dubrovnik & Trsteno Arboretum

Arrive in Dubrovnik and enjoy a guided walk. Alternatively travel to Trsteno Arboretum the 15th century summer residence of Gueti-Gozze family.

Day 13. Kotor, Montenegro

Enjoy a tour of the city of Kotor including the Cathedral of Saint Tryphon. Meet later for a Farewell Dinner on board.

Day 14. Disembark Ship & Depart Kotor

Disembark this morning and be transferred to Kotor’s Tivat airport or Dubrovnik airport for your onward flight.
