Itinerary

Day 1. Arrive Beijing

On arrival, be met at Beijing airport and transferred to your hotel. This evening we will enjoy a Peking Duck Welcome Dinner at 6.30pm.

Day 2. Beijing, Tian’anmen Square

Today begins with a tour of Tian’anmen Square. Afterwards, head to the Forbidden City, then visit Beijing Botanical Gardens and the Summer Palace’s Imperial Garden.

Day 3. Beijing, Great Wall of China

Visit one of the best-preserved parts of the Great Wall of China, the Mutianyu section. Board a cable-car and enjoy great views as you travel up to the top. After dinner at leisure back in Beijing, attend a Peking Opera show at Qianmen Liyuan Theatre.

Day 4. Beijing to Chongqing and Embark Ship

Farewell Beijing this morning as you fly to Chongqing. Head to the famous Chongqing Zoo, to see the famous Giant Pandas. Later, board your luxury river ship, the RV Sanctuary Yangzi Explorer for your cruise along the Yangtze River.

Day 5. Fengdu or Relocation Tour

Enjoy onboard activities. After lunch disembark for a tour of the ‘Ghost City’ of Fengdu, or visit the ‘Relocated Village’. Enjoy a special Welcome Dinner.

Day 6. Qutang Gorge, Wu Gorge, Shennong Stream and Xiling Gorge

Cruise along the Yangtze River through the Three Gorges region, considered by many to be China’s most picturesque area. This evening, enjoy a Chinese banquet.

Day 7. Three Gorges Dam, Yichang, Disembark Cruise and Xi’an

After breakfast, tour the world’s largest engineering project. Arrive later in Yichang where you’ll transfer to the airport for your flight to Xi’an. Visit the ancient city wall, and later, enjoy a special performance of the Tang Dynasty show and an authentic dumpling banquet.

Day 8. Xi’an and Terracotta Army

On the way to see the famous Terracotta Army, visit a clay factory where terracotta soldiers are made. Spend time at the Museum of Qin Terracotta Warriors and Horses. This evening, choose from three dining options.

Day 9. Xi’an, Shanghai and Suzhou

Transfer to Xi’an airport for your flight to Shanghai. On arrival, travel to the picturesque town of Suzhou. Travel to Tiger Hill and see the Azalea Flower Show and Wanjing Villa in Tiger Hill Park before dinner tonight.

Day 10. Suzhou, Humble Administrators Garden

Head to the renowned Humble Administrator’s Garden today. After lunch, enjoy a stroll along the Pingjiang Road. This evening enjoy traditional music in the Night Garden of Fishermen’s Net.

Day 11. Suzhou to Shanghai and Jinxi

Depart Suzhou for Shanghai, via the watertown of Jinxi. This evening, enjoy a Farewell Dinner.

Day 12. Shanghai and Yu Garden

This morning cruise the Huangpu River and explore Yu Garden, before feasting on dim sum for lunch. This evening, enjoy a Farewell Dinner.
