Itinerary

Day 1. Arrive Sydney to Bowral

Depart Sydney Hotel at 9.30am or Sydney Airport at 10.00am travel to Bowral in the Southern Highlands. Visit the Bradman Museum, then Greenbrier Park, private garden. Enjoy a Welcome Dinner this evening.
Stay: Two Nights: Bowral, Gibraltar Hotel or similar

Day 2. Red Cow Farm, Moidart and Bowral Tulip Festival

Visit Red Cow Farm, then onto Moidart, with its sunken rose garden. Visit Bowral’s Tulip Festival, an annual event showcasing an array of spring colour.

Day 3. Floriade and Canberra Sightseeing, Freedom of Choice

Today we head to Floriade, Australia’s celebration of spring with its mass of colourful bulbs. Enjoy a sightseeing tour of Canberra along with spectacular views from atop of Mt Ainslie. Later, choose to visit either the Australian War Memorial, Art Gallery, or take a tour of new Parliament House.

Day 4. Private Gardens of the Monaro

Today we travel south to the Monaro High Country, and stunning private gardens, situated on historic merino sheep and cattle stations. Meet the owners and enjoy a delicious home cooked lunch.

Day 5. Canberra to Sydney

Stroll around the 10 acres of tulips and other spring flowers at Tulip Top Garden. Drive through Mt Annan Botanic Gardens, the largest in Australia, covering 400 hectares.

Day 6. Hunter Valley Gardens

Travel to the Hunter Valley wine region to the Hunter Valley Gardens. Spanning over 25 hectares, there are 12 feature gardens to explore. Continue on to the Blue Mountains this afternoon.

Day 7. Mayfield Garden

Spend some time in Leura this morning and visit a private garden before travelling to privately owned Mayfield Garden, the largest privately owned cool climate garden in Australia. Enjoy a Farewell Dinner this evening.

Day 8. Blue Mountains and Depart Sydney

Enjoy the beauty of the region and admire the Three Sisters before visiting the private garden of Nooroo with magnificent wisteria. We will visit the Mt Tomah Botanic Gardens, to see Himalayan rhododendrons and more. Arrive back to Sydney airport at 5.00pm or Sydney hotel at 6.00pm.
