Arrive Melbourne, Gippsland
Depart from the Marriot Hotel at 8:30am and travel to Gippsland to admire Broughton Hall in full autumn splendour. Enjoy lunch within these terraced gardens, located in Bunyip State Park against a backdrop of the Tarago Reservoir, followed by time to browse the rare plant nursery. We then visit the famous Noojee Trestle Bridge, set in a beautiful tall forest which is spectacular in autumn. Later this afternoon explore Picardy Private Garden, a romantic French Provincial homage including a herb garden and olive grove. Enjoy a Welcome Dinner at your hotel this evening.

Today we visit the beautiful Dandenong Ranges, which are resplendent at this time of year. While here, we visit the acclaimed Cloudehill garden, where you can wander an area flushed with the autumnal colours of copper beeches and maples. Enjoy time to explore the Dandenong Ranges Botanic Garden which are most beautiful at this time of year. We tour William Ricketts Sanctuary to view its distinctive sculptures and hear about their fascinating history. Enjoy free time tonight to enjoy the laneways and wonderful restaurants that Melbourne has to offer.
Mornington Peninsula, Historic Homes and Sculpture Art
Today, enjoy a delightful glimpse into the art world of the Mornington Peninsula. First we visit Mulberry Hill, a National Trust property and the former home of Joan Lindsay, author of Picnic at Hanging Rock, and her artist husband Sir Daryl Lindsay. Then we enjoy lunch at the renowned Point Leo Estate and Sculpture Park, with time to explore the grounds. Afterwards, we visit Cruden Farm, the home of the late Dame Elisabeth Murdoch, with its memorable driveway of lemon-scented gum trees.Daily :
Daylesford and Autumn Colours
This morning, visit the tranquil and beautiful Gardens of Tieve Tara, nestled on the slopes of Mt Macedon. Referred to as ‘The Jewel of the Mountain’, it looks glorious in its autumn guise. Our next stop is the wonderfully picturesque town of Trentham. At The Estate Trentham, we enjoy a ‘garden tea’ workshop, where we learn about the medicinal properties of common kitchen herbs. You can then make up your own unique cuppa. Continue to the private garden of Simon Rickard, one of Botanica’s most respected Botanical Guides, for a rare peek into his amazing property. This afternoon, explore Daylesford and then arrive at the elegant heritage-style retreat Grange Bellinzona.

Private Garden and Garden of St Erth
Visit the delightful family-run Lavandula Lavender Farm to learn all about this versatile herb, before exploring the enchanting Diggers Club Garden at the Garden of St Erth in Blackwood. Situated close to the Macedon Ranges and within the Wombat State Forest, throughout the year Blackwood is filled with flowering borders in spring to a blaze of autumn colour. As one of Australia’s most exciting cool-climate gardens, the garden is also home to a collection of rare and unusual plants. Afterwards, we make our way back to Melbourne.Daily :
